Chlorophyll
Known as Nature's Green Magic (NOW IN AN EASY TO TAKE CAPSULE. EACH CAPSULE IS
EQUAL TO APPROXIMATELY 3 OR MORE TEASPOONS OF LIQUID CHLOROPHYLL. CAPSULES
CONTAIN 50 MG OF CONCENTRATED 100% NATURAL CHLOROPHYLL.) This information is
taken in part from an article written by Vincent Licata. Although it was about
a century ago that chemists segregated a green pigment from the green leaves
which they called Chlorophyll, it was not until 1913 that a German chemist,
Dr. Richard Willstatter, made the right deductions about the function of
Chlorophyll. He pointed out that all of life energy comes from the sun. Green
plants alone possess the secret of how to capture this solar energy. Out of
this process stems much of what we know as life and growth. The Chlorophyll
molecule bears a striking resemblance to hemoglobin, the red pigment in human
blood. The red blood pigment is a web of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen
atoms grouped around a single atom of iron. Nature's green pigment is a
similar web of the same atoms, except that its centerpiece is a single atom of
magnesium. Emile Burgi of Berne, Switzerland did valuable research on
Chlorophyll which was destined to establish sound therapeutic values for
Chlorophyll. He says in part, Chlorophyll is recommended as an excellent
specific for influencing anemia of various kinds, for bettering the general
condition of health, for improving the action of the heart; for reducing blood
pressure in cases where it is abnormally high. In cases of heart block,
weakness of the heart etc. in conjuction with abnormal blood pressure (usually
due to arteriosclerosis) the administration of Chlorophyll brought about a
slow but rather considerable improved action of the heart. It stimulates
peristalsis: improves the intestines and is a mild diuretic. E. Bircher,
Research Scientist, called Chlorophyll; Concentrated Sun Power." He says in
part, "Chlorophyll increases the function of the heart, affects the Vascular
System, the intestines, the uterus and the lungs. It raises the basic nitrogen
exchange and is therefore a tonic which considering its stimulating properties
cannot be compared with any other." Dr. Benjamin Gurskin, Director of
experimental pathology of the famous Temple University at Philadelphia,
published an amazing article on Chlorophyll in the American Journal of
Surgery. In his article on Chlorophyll, Dr. Gurskin reported on his
experiments and those of his associates. Two of Dr. Gurskin's Temple
University colleagues in the investigation of Chlorophyll were Dr's. Redpath
and Davis, ear, nose and throat specialists. These doctors treated over 1000
patients ranging in age from very young children to elderly people. They were
suffering from a wide variety of ailments such as head cold, acute catarrhal
inflammation and hay fever to acute sinus infections. Dr. Gurskin, in
commenting on his associates' experience with Chlorophyll writes, "It is
interesting to note that there is not a single case recorded in which
improvement has not taken place." Dr. Carol Wright, professor of Dermatology
at Temple University in Philadelphia, used Chlorophyll in ointment form in
treating several types of skin disease and found it especially effective in
chronic ulcers. He also had good response to Chlorophyll treatment when using
it in cases of impetigo. A report that of two Pennsylvania doctors, Langley
and Morgan, which tells of their experience with this substance and 40
patients suffering with skin diseases of eleven different types. One of the
most gratifying results of treatment with Chlorophyll, say the doctors, was
its ability to relieve itching and burning. One quality that many doctors
discovered was that the Chlorophyll seemed to thicken and strengthen the walls
of the body cells of living animals. Here was a medical need even more urgent
that a new treatment for anemia, according to Science News Letter, March 15,
1941. And this regarded the antiseptic qualities of Chlorophyll as an
antiseptic strong enough to kill germs and yet soothing to the tissues. It was
found that Chlorophyll increased the resistance of the cells and inhibited the
growth of bacteria, thus preventing the germs from spreading their poison.
CHLOROPHYLL FIGHTS BODY ODORS In March, 1950, Dr. F. Howard Westcott reported
that when Chlorophyll is taken internally in adequate quantity, it reduces
offensive body and breath odors. His report was the conclusion of long tests
and experimentations.
